Analysis of career commitment and subjective career success relationship

In this dataset, a cross-sectional survey design was used to collect data. A non-probability sampling techniques were used, which included both convenience and snowball methods to recruit participants.Qualtrics, an online survey tool, was used to collect data from participating individuals. The online survey contained a questionnaire that included all the measuring instruments. After the survey had been compiled and all instruments had been included in the questionnaire, an email explaining the purpose of the study, an informed consent letter, and a link to the Qualtrics survey were distributed to the veterinary professionals.

Data was downloaded to Microsoft Excel once collection was completed. To conduct the data analysis, the SPSS program was used, and the data were coded, captured, and cleaned.  A codebook is attached which clearly explains the different codes that were used in the dataset. In collecting data, the researcher did not disregard the regulations of the Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 4 of 2013) because this contact information is freely available to the public on SAVC’s website. The researcher only used this information to contact the professionals and enquire as to their willingness to participate voluntarily in the study.
