Analysis of the experiences of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) activists in Limpopo

This dataset reflects the analysed data of the lived experiences of HIV activists in Limpopo province. Data for a qualitative study which was collected through semi-structured one-on-one interviews, analysed and themes emerged. The file includes various themes and sub-themes that emerged from the data. Snowball sampling methods were used to select 6 participants, aged 18 and above who are living openly with the HIV virus. The research was centred on the pyschosocial eperiences of HIV activists as well as their coping mechanism living with the virus and providing support to other individuals living with the virus who are not yet as bold to disclose their statius to their familes, communities and intimate partners.
