Analysis of thermal impact on the embryogenesis of Nile crocodile, Crocodylus niloticus eggs
This dataset was collected from daily thermal records from start till end of the study, for a thesis contribution. A set number of Nile crocodile eggs were incubated using a homemade incubator, and the date the eggs were incubated and hatched were recorded to determine the incubation period. Moreover, the eggs from various clutches were randomly grouped separately in the incubators of various temperatures. One should note that the "incno" and "incgroup" refer to the incubation number and group, respectively. Also, the other codes to note are as follows: SVL for Snout to Vent Length, VTL for Vent to Tail Length, STL for Snout to Tail Length, and BPD for the Biparietal Diameter. Lastly, the hatchling sizes were also recorded in response to their thermal exposure.
