Analysis of visa requirements and destination choice
The self-administered online questionnaire was used to collect data from respondents residing in all provinces of the country through an email and was hosted on the market research company's online server. The invitations were sent out in batches to 10 000 panel members at a time until the target was achieved. The final number of usable questionnaires totalled 444, split between those who had previously applied for a visa (301) and those who had not applied for a visa before (143). The data was collected over a 15-day period, from 15 June 2021 to 30 June 2021.
The target population was citizens, aged eighteen years or older, who had applied for a visas before, and were planning on travelling internationally in the next three years.
