Blockchain experts' opinions on the implementation of blockchain interoperability in the banking sector

The data comprises transcriptions of semi-structured interviews with blockchain experts (developers and researchers) from the South African banking sector. The interviews were conducted through Google Meet. This cross-sectional data represents the views and experiences shared by the experts regarding how blockchain interoperability can be achieved in banking organisations. The data also includes the experts’ opinions on the challenges facing the implementation of blockchain technology in the banking sector. The data was used to identify various elements that should be considered to achieve blockchain interoperability in enterprise settings.
