Chemistry data for isolated antiviral natural products against SARS-CoV-2
Supplementary data for a PhD thesis titled 'Use of hyphenatd analytical techniques to isolate and characterise antiviral compounds against SARS-CoV-2 from South African medicinal plants' which involved investigating South African medicinal plants against the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Pure bioactive compounds were isolated from Podocarpus henkelii, Gunnera perpensa and Siphonochilous atheopicus. The file contains raw 2D NMR data of the pure compounds isolated, SXCRD data including atom details for single crystals obtained. Mass spectral data (high and low energy) are also included of the pure compounds isolated by HPLC-PDA-MS, viz., the hydroxylated lactone of siphonochilone (25), punicalin (23), α/β-punicalagin (18), lespedezic acid (17) and inumakilactone B (52).
