Cytotoxic analysis of the novel isoflavones, their anti-HIV activity and the time-of-addition studies to quantify the entry inhibiting capabilities of the isoflavones, all in TZM-bl cell

dataset

This dataset includes the cytotoxic analysis of the novel isoflavones in TZM-bl cells utilising an MTT assay. The results are the analysed quantified product produced from viable cells. The results were used to determine the concentration of cytotoxicity 50 % (CC50). The anti-HIV studies took place in TZM-bl cells utilising a luciferase reporter assay. The results are the quantified luminescence recorded in the presence of the isoflavones to produce the half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50). The time-of-addition results utilised the same luciferase reporter assay but with time limitations to quantify the entry-inhibiting capabilities of the novel isoflavones.
