Study assess two demand-side barriers confronting the involuntarily financially excluded - financial literacy and self-efficacy. Employing a pre-intervention and post-intervention field experiment to measure the financial behaviour of individuals, the study monitored the use of an appropriately developed banking offering after obtaining consent from research participants. Participants were placed into four groups with three groups having a distinct intervention each and then a control group.
