Ethical leadership, service delivery and good governance in eThekwini Municipality
This research study employed a qualitative research approach, using semi-structured interviews with employees in the Finance Department and Supply Chain Department in eThekwini Municipality. The study used non-probability sampling to get more insight regarding the views and perceptions of the respondents through the use of ATLAS.ti software, to analyse the findings. Deductive and inductive coding of the qualitative data was performed using ATLAS.ti 2022 for Windows. This programme was used to extract verbatim quotations from the qualitative data collected and construct data visualisations. Thematic analysis of the qualitative data from semi-structured interviews was used. Firstly, individual transcript responses were coded based on the themes identified by the researcher through the study questions. The uploaded files contain an analyzed data and interview transcripts.
