Factors influencing reading outcomes in Sepedi

This dataset contains information of factors influencing poor reading outcomes in Sepedi in Grade 1 in the Limpopo province. The study focused on four factors language education policy, structured pedagogy, professional development and alignment of teaching and learning materials. The study used a qualitative analysis of document reviews, classrooms observations, and semi-structured interviews. To analyse coding was applied and themes emerged.
