The data set contain information regarding cell viability testing, concentration testing and osteoclast formation. Information was collected using various in vitro techniques including western blotting, resazurin viability testing and tartrate resistant acid phosphatase staining and activity. RAW 264.7 murine macrophages were used as a base which was modified to express wild-type human follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR). The data set was analyzed using GraphPad Prism 7 and ImageJ. The statistical analysis employed one-way ANOVA and to avoid false positives the Bonferroni correction was utilized in multiple comparisons. No significant conclusions were drawn from the study due to further investigation being required.
