Household survey data on biodiversity conservation and food security in the Zimbabwean Gonarezhou National Park (GNP)
Dataset used in the analysis of MSc Agricultural Economics thesis titled "The impact of participating in the biodiversity economy on household food security: a Gonarezhou National Park Communities’ case study". This dataset contains survey responses from households within the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe. Collected data spans demographics, relationships, village-level identifiers, and responses to questions on biodiversity conservation and food security. Additionally, sections of the dataset focus on willingness to pay (WTP) for conservation efforts and other economic and social factors affecting household food security. This rich dataset can support analyses on the intersection of conservation and livelihoods in rural Zimbabwean communities.
