The data provided consists of all raw data files used in compiling the dissertation titled "Identification and molecular characterisation of the necrosis and ethylene-inducing peptide 1-like proteins (NLPs) of Phytophthora cinnamomi." These files consist of a phylogenetic tree file used to represent the relationships between the NLPs identified in this study compared to know published sequences. The Hidden-Markov Model created to identify NLP transcripts from the P. cinnamomi genome. The raw data used to create all heat maps in this study including the expression of the NLP genes as well as the ethylene biosynthesis genes of avocado. Finally, the coding sequences of all candidate NLPs confirmed in this study are also included.
