Informal vendors, pedestrians, shop owners and other relevant public space users in Sunnyside and Church Square, for the goal of understanding the interactions and relationships in urban public spaces
Interviews of various users of select public spaces in the CBD of Pretoria, with a specific focus on informal trader and public space ownership, to develop an understanding of the roles and relationships of the public space for informal trade in the city and the effects of that relationship on other users.
Through involving a broad range of stakeholders, such as vendors, legislators, local communities, and urban planners, the study effectively depicts the intricate dynamics involved in the development, utilisation, and administration of public spaces.
