Learner progression policy

The study used a qualitative method. The research design that was appropriate for this study was a case study design. The semi structured questions were used for participants interviews. The participant's were selected from different hierarchy/post levels in selected schools. Post level 1, 2 and 3 were interviewed from each selected schools. The participants granted permission that the interviews can be recorded. The recordings were supplemented by note taking. The recorded data was transcribed and kept ready for coding. Data was manually coded and categorised into themes. The categorised themes were interpreted to give meaning for findings conclusions.
