The data set contains the raw survey data collected to better understand how people in rural northwestern Namibia move. The data includes the villages people's travel origins, destinations, transport modes, motivations and duration. The survey specifically covers data collected in the Kunene region from 2008/2009. Questions were asked about general travel as well as specific travel to the most populous villages, namely Opuwo, Okanguati and Epupa. The data was originally collected to better understand how these mobility routes correspond with informal road networks in the area.
