The goal of the study was to explore and describe NQSWs’ experiences regarding their work readiness to provide social work services to children and families in Gauteng. The study was qualitative using the interpretivist paradigm and instrumental case study design. Seven participants were selected through purposive sampling and interviewed using semi-structured interviews, and the data was analysed through thematic analysis. The theoretical framework that underpinned the study was the Theory of Collaborative Advantage (TCA).
