Qualitative dataset on the perceptions of offenders and correctional officials on the effectiveness of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes offered to offenders during the period of incarceration.
The data was collected using qualitative methodology. The study employed a case study research design where the sample of the study was purposively selected. To analyse the empirical data, triangulation method was used, followed by thematic analysis. The data was analysed to scan for common themes and sub-themes which were clustered together to achieve the objectives of the study.
