Professional nurses' knowledge regarding climate change

The research was assessing the knowledge of the professional nurse in primary health care regarding climate change. Primary health care professional nurses has a duty to improve health and prevent diseases by educating, empowering and engaging communities regarding health challenges. Structured questionnaires were distributed to the sampled population.

Quantitative non-experimental descriptive methodology was employed to assess their knowledge. Data collection covered the assessment of the knowledge of the professional nurses in primary health care regarding climate change and the perceptions of the professional nurses regarding their roles in the prevention of the impact of climate change.
