In this project, we report on reproductive behaviours displayed by roan
antelopes. This is important since it describes sexual
behaviours in males and females and provides semi-quantitative data, which is a
step towards understanding the reproductive physiology of this species.
The study was performed with the approval of the University
of Pretoria Animal use and care committee (Reference V072-17).
