Small-scale farmers on land degradation in Komatipoort

Dataset for a qualitative study on small-scale farmers' perceptions of land degradation in Komatipoort and how it influences their livelihoods. The researcher adopted a case study design in particular instrumental case study. The study had both exploratory and descriptive research purposes. Data was collected from twelve purposively sampled participants who are small-scale farmers in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga and had provided their written consent to participate in the study. With the participants' consent, the interviews were audio recorded. The researcher transcribed the interviews and data was analysed using thematic analysis. The themes and sub-themes emerged are summarized in the table uploaded.
