This dataset contains point tracking data for three blades of a five bladed rotor system. The measurements are captured by two high speed cameras at 4000 frames per second, for three rotational speeds (650 rpm, 1000 rpm, and 1460 rpm). Photogrammetric shape-based analysis was employed as an approach that does not require prior surface preparation. A comparative study to investigate the performance of PCA of SPCDs in relation to Kernel Principal Component Analysis (KPCA) is also conducted, and it is shown that KPCA outperforms PCA in terms of classifying different blade faults.
