This research delves into the experiences of teachers working with learners with color vision deficiency in primary and secondary schools within the Ekurhuleni district of Gauteng. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the study utilised a questionnaire to quantitatively assess teachers' awareness of color vision deficiency and its consideration in classroom instruction and extracurricular activities. Qualitative data, derived from in-depth interviews, provided rich insights into teachers' personal experiences with learners with CVD, including how they became aware of such learners, challenges faced by these learners, and the support strategies implemented.
