The effects of outcome framing on impact investment choices
The purpose of this cross-sectional explanatory study was to examine the relationships between perceived risk, sense of understanding, and outcome framing in the context of impact investment decision-making. To answer the proposed research questions, a single-factor post-test-only experiment was designed. The experiment followed a between-subjects design, where participants are exposed to multiple counterbalanced treatments using a completely randomised design. The experiment was self-administered using a web-based questionnaire which gathered data via an online questionnaire from a broad heterogenous population of individuals capable of making investment decisions.
