This dataset provides insights into the Niger-Delta crisis from the pre-amnesty period when the Nigerian Government applied a militaristic approach to quell agitations in the Niger-Delta region to the post-amnesty period in which the Nigerian government resorted to a human security approach in an attempt to meet the needs of the region. Content analysis and human security approach was employed.
