Treefiles for Sclerotinia phylogenies based on partial gene sequences and gene regions

dataset

The supplementary data provided consists of the treefiles of all the phylogenies produced and used to create the figures in the dissertation entitled "Reconsidering the taxonomy of Sclerotinia with special reference to S. sclerotiorum". The phylogenies (and treefiles) represent two ITS phylogenies of Sclerotinia species as well as gene trees for Sclerotiniaceae species and related taxa. The gene trees were based on partial gene sequences of calmodulin (CAL), glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (G3PDH), heat shock protein 60 (HSP60), internal transcribed spacer region (ITS), laccase 2 (LCC2), minichromosome maintenance complex component 7 (MCM7), RNA polymerase II second largest subunit (RPB2) and translation elongation factor EF-1 alpha (TEF1). A phylogeny based on the concatenated of all eight gene regions is also presented. A genome-based phylogeny using 883 Benchmarking Universal Single-Copy Orthologs (BUSCOs) extracted from the genome sequences of several Sclerotiniaceae species and related taxa is also deposited here.
