Reason: I will be using this data during my PhD, and was therefore asked to keep this data private for the time being, until its use is no longer needed.

Vibration data for a ten, eight and six DOF gearbox model

dataset

The data includes two large sets of simulated data:
The first set includes data for a 10 DOF single stage gearbox model, for two measurement locations (labelled according to file name). This data is further split into multiple noise cases (labelled by SNR0 and SNR1000).

The second set includes data for a six and eight DOF single stage gearbox model, for the same measurement locations. The two datasets are split according to filename. This data is further split into multiple noise cases (labelled by SNR0 and SNR1000).

The data is split into groups of three: _regressions, _classes and _data. _regressions refer to the fault intensities, _classes refer to the classes (0-health, 1-crack, 2-chip, 3-spall, 4-pit) and _data refers to the corresponding simulated vibration signal.

_regressions and _class should have n instances corresponding to the n _data signals of length m which were generated.

Data was generated at 10Nm of resistance torque. The speed is fixed according to the Masters Dissertation.

The code which was used for the data is Python.
