The data represented by the file (viralandresistancegraphs.zip) are the human viral species and bacteriophages identified within the paediatric HIV positive and HIV negative bronchiectasis patient cohorts. This information gives insight into the virome of this cohort during stable state of disease. The data represents a majority of bacteriopahges and only two clinically relevant viruses.

The resistome data is split into shotgun metagenomic data and M-PCR data for the above mentioned cohort of patients. A selected number of patients were chosen based on their clinical demographics and microbiome demonstarted through next generation sequencing. The dataset further shows the antimicrobial resistome patterns between the cohorts and the resistance rates to specific antimicrobial classes. This was then aligned to the current treatment regimen of the patient chort to determine if the resistance detected is to the current treatment protocol.
