Evaluation of a system for the simultaneous control of pH and electrical conductivity (EC) in hydroponics through real-time manipulation of the ammonium-to-nitrate ratio

The data shows the results of experiments that evaluated a system for the simultaneous control of pH and EC in hydroponics through real-time manipulation of the ammonium-to-nitrate ratio in the nutrient solution. As such, pH and EC were measured online (hence the smooth line). Intermittent measurements of ammonium and nitrate were also made. After each experiment (of which there were three), metrics of nitrogen content, mass, chlorophyll, moisture content were also measured. In addition to this, the mass fractions of leaf, stem, and roots were measured. Included are also the statistical analyses of these results.
