Transmission electron microscopy images of xyloplast differentiation
This dataset shows transmission electron microscopy images of the differentiation of the xyloplast, a plastid found in xylem which synthesizes mass phenylalanine for lignin production.
These images were taken from induced VND7 Arabidopsis seedlings. The supplementary data underpin the study titled 'Structure-function relationship between plastic morphology and carbon partitioning during secondary cell wall synthesis in Arabidopsis thaliana'.
