The study employed a mixed methods approach and explanatory sequential design where quantitative data were collected and analysed first and followed by qualitative data. Collective administrative questionnaire was used for quantitative data collection after cluster sampling was used to select 100 community volunteers and 42 social workers. Data were analysed using R Core Team, 2020. Semi-structured interviews were used to collect qualitative data from 20 community volunteers and 14 social workers. Data were analysed thematically using Nvivo.
