Selection on female reproductive schedules in the marula fly, Ceratitis cosyra (Diptera Tephritidae) affects dietary optima for female reproductive traits but not lifespan
This Excel worksheet contains data used for statistical analyses to compare flies selected upward on age of egg oviposition to control flies at generations 35 (no-choice experiment) or generation 37 (choice experiment). The following traits have been investigated for the no-choice experiment: diet consumption, lifespan, lifetime egg production, daily egg production. In the choice experiment only diet consumption was measured over 16 days.
