I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Informatics in the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology since 2017. Prior to joining the university and during my tenure in industry, I championed digital transformation, driving growth through personalised digital offerings, and empowering customers through convenient and effective self-service. I currently focus on research in Information Systems and the Organisation with particular emphasis on digital transformation, disruptive technologies (4th industrial revolution), big data management and knowledge management. The combination of these research areas enable cross-domain research in knowledge visualisation as an organisational tool, as well as the collaboration of human- and machine knowledge (artificial intelligence and machine learning) for knowledge work. I am a National Research Foundation (NRF) C2 rated researcher.
