Short Profile of William Jiyana. Professional Life and Career. Currently, Mr William Jiyana is a Lecturer and a Language Specialist (Linguist) at the University of Mpumalanga in South Africa, where he is a member of the Faculty Board, within the Faculty of Education. There are a number of courses that he teaches, including the IsiNdebele language as an academic subject. He also teaches dramatic arts and performance, as well as Language Didactics and Methodology of Teaching. Among his administrative duties and responsibilities as the former coordinator of the Funza Lushaka Bursary Scheme, he assigned bursaries to students and placed bursars in a variety of schools. As well as collaborating with a variety of private language companies throughout the country and internationally, the Departments of Education and Arts and Culture have worked with him on many projects.
