I am a postgraduate MSc Chemistry Education student at the University of Pretoria (graduating early in 2023) and a Chemistry educator at the UP Pre-University Academy. My research field is Systems Thinking In Chemistry Education (STICE), focusing on developing meaningful teaching and assessment resources for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). I completed my undergraduate BSc degree in Chemistry with a major in Environmental Science, Honours in Chemistry, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Physical Sciences (PGCE). As a researcher and educator, my interests are in equipping future generations with systems thinking skills so that they are better prepared to deal with the complexity and uncertainty of sustainability challenges.
