Typical meteorological year (TMY) of Ga-Rankuwa, South Africa was developed using climate simulation model data. This data was sourced from the meteorological service, Meteoblue (2015-2020). Temperature and relative humidity were the parameters used. The TMY was used as an indicator of the temperature and relative humidity climate profile of the study area at the time of the study.

A water generation profile forecasting water yield under specific temperature and relative humidity conditions from the cooling condensation atmospheric water generators (AWG) is shown in the AWG water generation performance sheet - Interpolation Graphs. Data points were interpolated from water perfomance guideline ranges provided by the original equipment manufacturer.

Realtime temperature and relative humidity forecasts and measured water yield recordings of  AWGs operating between March, 2020 and May, 2021. The graphical analyses of the calculated and measured water yield of cooling condensation atmospheric water generators operating in Ga-Rankuwa, under pristine conditions and modification using an evaporative cooling system (ECS) are represented in the graphical analyses of water yield dataset.
