<p>Induced coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICPMS) analysis was applied to analyze major and trace element oxides in core/ditch cutting samples comprising of mudrocks from the Anambra Basin Nigeria.  The ICPMS data was used for sedimentary geochemistry study, paleoclimate reconstructions, and paleoenvironment interpretations.</p> <p>Supplementary material total organic carbon (TOC) data comprises of TOC concentrations  of mudrocks from the Anambra Basin Nigeria.</p> <p>Supplementary material docx shows the free air anomaly map of the western margin of the Anambra Basin from satellite-derived WGM2012 gravity survey.</p>
